AAOP is proud to be one of the Seeding Change National Fellowship host site! The Seeding Change program is an intensive 7-10 week full-time volunteer program that supports the development of young people towards a deep commitment to organizing in our communities for racial, economic, and gender justice. Our Seeding Change Fellows get the opportunity to develop their leadership and civic engagement skills by building community, mobilizing, engaging, and activating community members to become civically engaged, and more.

Ngoc Bui

Raised in Frogtown St. Paul, Ngoc is currently studying for an MA in Social Work and Human Rights in Berlin, Germany after completing a Bachelor’s in Sociology in the U.S. While Ngoc has never been involved in political work in the Twin Cities, the years away from home made Ngoc realize how much Ngoc wanted to organize at home. Ngoc is looking forward to learning more about intergenerational grassroots organizing and civic engagement within the AAPI community in the Twin Cities and seeing Ngoc’s family.
