We Are Not Fighting Alone

Asian American Organizing Project presents “We Are Not Fighting Alone,” a zine compilation on the pandemic experiences from Minnesotan Asian American Pacific Islanders (AAPI).  This zine discusses the warmhearted memories and struggles of family, school, discrimination, sexism, grief, and health. It is compiled by 2020 Storyteller Intern Npaus Baim Her.

About the Editor:

Npaus Baim Her is an emerging writer who collects narratives of Asian Americans and creates visual art to portray her literary work. She has exhibited and performed her work with Prior Affairs, HECUA Alumni, Asian American Literacy Collective, Qhia Dab Neeg, and Coalition of Asian American Leaders #MinneAsianStories 2018-2019. Two of her pieces were recently submitted into the book Staring Down the Tiger published by Minnesota Historical Society. Npaus Baim graduated from St. Catherine University in the spring of 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a double minor in Critical Hmong Studies and Studio Arts. She will further her studies at St. Thomas University in Master of Arts in Creative Writing and Publishing.
